The Pensacola Delta Enrichment Center, Inc. (hereinafter “PDEC”) began as a large group of volunteers from the Belmount-DeVilliers neighborhood located in Pensacola, Florida, who implemented educational program and services for senior citizens. PDEC sequentially was organized in August 2001 under the State of Florida as a nonprofit corporation. Pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code, PDEC is a 501 (c) (3) organization. With the exception of unrelated business income, PDEC is exempt from income taxes under applicable provision of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.PDEC current organizational structure consists of (11) members on its Board of Directors and five (5) members on its Executive Board (Management) who are responsible for the day-to-day operations. An organizational structure chart with a list of the current Officers and Directors is included on page 5 of this report.The Executive Board is responsible for the day to day operations of PDEC and reports directly to its Board of Directors who has oversight responsibilities of the organization. In carrying out its mission and goals, PDEC also enlist the services of volunteers to help with the execution of different programs it engages in.PDEC is incorporated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, with the following focuses:
