Bantucola.com awards Harmonic Learning $1500 Grant
Pensacola, FL, July 8, 2022 Bantucola.com – The Gulf Coast Black Business Directory, awarded Harmonic Learning Education and Training a capacity building grant for $1500.
Over 40 applicants applied for the grant. There were a wide range of small Black-Owned businesses that applied. All applicants were given 500 words or less to describe how they would use this injection of capital in their business to expand.
The money was provided to Bantucola.com via anonymous donors who wanted to invest in the betterment of the Black Business community. Bantucola.com was entrusted with distributing these funds in the best way to support the community.
Out of the more than 40 applicants, 6 were advanced to the 2nd final round. The finalists included BAM! Snoballs, Asabi Birth Services, Harmonic Learning, Professional Customer Support, Get Nailed Beauty Bar, and CI’s Esthetics & Skincare. Harmonic Learning received 4 out of the 5 first place votes.
Chris Hendricks, founder of Bantucola.com, was pleased to award this grant to a local small business to help them grow capacity. “Like Black Business Weekend, this moves us in the direction of being a practitioner of what we preach. Which is supporting the Black community and building its economic capacity. Pensacola is a better community when all of citizen groups get to take part in the wealth building opportunity it provides.”
